Playing bass, dobro and singing a few tunes is James Lightle. Born in Burlington, James was raised on a four-generation family farm and started learning guitar at the age of 9. In the late 70s he was a member of a five-man band “The Midnight Raiders,” playing together for about 10 years at bar dances and other functions. James cut his teeth on country music, then in the 70s added rock from the 50s and 60s. He was introduced to Bluegrass when he first jammed with his 385 buds and now he's hooked.
